Happy Holidays from SHeW FLy PiE!

 

      I want to wish ALL of you out there.... a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!  And, I want to give a special thanks to everyone who supported me in purchasing one of my doll this season!  You've all been so GREAT and I want you to know...I really appreciate that!

    And, with the Christmas and New Years fast approaching...needless to say....I will be cleaning and shopping and probably in need of a serious nap! HEE HEE  So, unfortunately...I will not be posting any new doLLs until the beginning of the New Year!

     However, in the New Year to come...I plan on having some GREAT NEW CREATIONS, some long awaited PATTERNS and hopefully, just hopefully (cross your fingers) a YouTube Video available for you see! So, I hope that you will keep checking back on eBay for my new listings to come, as well as, RIGHT HERE for any NEWS or NEW postings!

Hi Everyone!
    Just received my PAPERCLAY in the mail!!! YEAH! YiPPeee! I absolutely LOVE Creative Paperclay...it's GREAT to work with!  Easy clean up....just an all around great product!

   Unfortunately, I've noticed that it's becoming harder to get! Both Joann's and Michael's have stopped carrying it...which, I'm not sure why! :0 (   

    But, hey...the good news is....you can still find it on eBay and Amazon!

Crafter's Tip and Pick of the Week!

Hi Everyone!
   Ok...I have another CRAFTING TIP for you out there!  I've been crafting since 95' and some things you just have to learn along the way, when you first start out.  This one I had to learn the hard way!  
    Ever wonder...which brand of stuffing is the BEST for your project?  One cost a little more...but the other one should be just as good, right? Let's just go with the cheaper brand! STOP...RIGHT THERE!  Been there....done that!   
Fairfield Poly-fil is absolutely the BEST stuffing...hands down! 

   I have found that the cheaper brands bunch up and leave your projects lumpy and bumpy!  It leaves your doll's legs looking like it has cellulite and who likes cellulite? Right...no one!  Fairfield Poly-Fil doesn't do that. So, my crafter's tip and pick of the week...goes to Fairfield Poly-Fil! 
       I always buy the big box of Poly-Fil , because I make a lot of things and it last longer!  You can find the big boxes of Poly-Fil at Walmart and a box of the polyfil will run you about $25.95...but, it's worth every penny!
